A calendar page on a desk . . . a red and blue pencil . . . a ballpoint pen . . . that's how it all started!
I started doodling on a calendar while sitting at my desk waiting for my ride. I did this for several days, and one afternoon I noticed several people looking at my calendar. I doodled in color and they thought that was cool. Some even wanted me to do one for them, which I did. Couldn't believe anyone would want a doodle.
My aimless doodles went on until just before Christmas when I decided I would do a Christmas card. From that point forward I knew what my doodles were about. Yes, I know what I draw is very abstract, contemporary, bright and colorful, but some like it. I grant it's not for everyone, but if I can make just one person happy or give he or she, young or old a bit of spiritual boost or just brighten up their day . . . that gives me joy.
Perhaps I got your attention for a moment, but if what I do doesn't exactly fit your decor perhaps you know someone who might like it. Maybe a young person would like to have it on their wall.
Thank you so much for dropping by.
